The Château Vieux Lavergne spreads over 3,30 ha of sandy-gravelly land. The techniques used for several years are continuated and ameliorated : every two ranks are filled in with grass between, fragmented selection, manual leaves thin-outing, green harvest, grape selection of the harvest in the vineyard and cellar. Our vineyard respects a fair ecoligic agriculture practice.

The robe is bright garnet colored and shiny, berry and blackcurrant nose, the wine shows a very smooth taste combined with a good intensity of the substance, a round and rich palate with ripe tannins and persistent fruct.
Ageing time is about 6 to 8 years, laying-down off-light in cave. During this period, aromates develop to tease the consumer's palate.
From 14 to 16°C after 2 hours of breathing is served with meats (chicken, veal, lamb, beef…) cheese, black chocolate desert.
